When visitors come to our region, we figure they will need to eat, relax and have fun. For services such as spas, dining, wine tours, horseback, balloon rides and more, we are very choosy, and we only list our personal favorites.
We visit the lodging properties, we dine in the restaurants, and we rejuvenate at the spas -- all under the guise of being "Sonoma Experts." Our life is great, and we don't mind sharing our resources.
Wendy Newman, president of Stay Sonoma, has been a part of the lodging industry since 1984. She has held management positions with Westin and independent hotels, has been a General Manager of an 88-room inn, and has come within an inch of purchasing her own B&B. She has extensive knowledge in all aspects of lodging from large to small, and has been consulting and providing lodging services in Sonoma Wine Country since 2000.
Sierra Van der Kamp, General Manager of Stay Sonoma, was born and raised in Sonoma County. As a daughter of a wine maker and vintner she feels blessed to call Sonoma Valley's Glen Ellen "home." Initially, she worked professionally with Stay Sonoma and has been a part of the hospitality industry in Sonoma Valley since 2000.
Connecting visitors with that perfect lodging property, the one they would have never found on their own, is our passion. After accommodating thousands of satisfied visitors to the Sonoma region, we still never tire of hearing guests exclaim that their stay was "perfection!"
